Websites and teaching ideas you'll love

You just have to grab a cup of coffee and check out Larry Ferlazzo's post about free websites that can creatively be adapted for education.  The first one featuring optical illusions had these poor old eyes going crazy, but I'm sure kids will love it.  Mr. Ferlazzo explains how he adapts the various websites to learning activities in his class.  For example, Big Bob's Burger Joint is great for teaching food vocabulary.  His ideas are so fantastic that they can easily be adapted for any group of kids.

To top it off, if you look at his previous posts, he has even more sites to sit back and enjoy.  Okay,  you might need more than one cup of coffee.:)

I must give credit to Joanne Jacob's Carnival of Education post for finding Larry Ferlazzo's blog this morning.  I just love reading and sharing teacher blogs.
