About Technology In Teaching, and Me
I'm a science teacher - mostly Physical Science, but some Chemistry and Biology, when needed.
My passion is using technology to enhance my classes and labs. I have been trained by the American Association of Physics Teachers to provide workshops as a Physics Teaching Resource Agent. I have also taken Texas Instruments (TI) training in graphing calculators and the new handhelds - TInspire.
I'm a regular user of both Vernier & PASXO data probes; I use a LabQuest and a PASCO GLX, as well.
I am also an experienced computer user. My Master's degree was in Computers & Educational Technology.
I started this blog to talk about the many ways teachers can use technology to enhance the learning of their students. It has evolved, over time, to include general topics, personal stories, and more.
