After a pause, I landed at a school I've been at before. I'm VERY glad to be back here. No stairs, no floating from room to room, and considerably less stress.
We have excitement (along with some frustrations) - we've been given Windows tablets. In January, the students will have an opportunity to get their own tablets - same kind. Meanwhile, we're working hard to get up to speed with them.
We'll be using the OneNote app for most of the organizing of our lessons and interactive stuff. I need to spend more time getting the framework known, to where I can easily modify/create lessons that utilize the platform.
We're all excited - and a little apprehensive. For most of us, it will be the first experience we've had with a truly linked, interactive classroom.
To think just a few years ago, the Smartboards were cutting-edge technology!
