Objective
Students learn the meanings of new words and use them in a meaningful context. Students learn how to hyperlink the words on the computer.

Lesson
Students are given ten vocabulary words relevant to a lesson they are studying. The words can be from any subject area. Students look up the definitions and parts of speech of each word on the internet. Using the computer, students choose a type of writing that they feel fits with the words and write an essay, poem, story, etc. using all ten words. After completing a final copy, students hyperlink each word to its definition.
