Sharing the struggle in integrating technology....

Facilitating ONLINE Communities

Yes.. I just joined a free course provided by Educational Development Centre of Otago Polytechnic. I actually ran into this opportunity from a discussion from the EdTechTalk show. I am really excited about this opportunity working with SOOO MANY educators.

It was shared from today's online web meeting that we will conduct a mini-conference possiblely around the end of the course. Further information about the course can be found here.

I think that I have my assignments covered for this week. This is actually my first NON-Moodle/Blackboard course. Now, I need to priorities my assignments for completion.

1. Lesley ECOMP6102 - Final
2. Moodle Course (COLT via LearnNC)
3. Facilitation Online Communities (FOC2008)
4. IW101: Item Development Basics (NC Testing Program)

Yes, I have a lot on my plate.

Wow! You have a pretty heavy workload. You need to tell me the secret on how to organize oneself to be as much productive as possible. I find myself experiencing a frustration at the end of each day because I never manage to do what I had intended to do.

Anyway, I am also very excited about this course and look forward to interacting with the many interesting people that are participating.

Joao: Google GTD.  There is a process that may help . . .

Business, overload: constant problems.

-Malik, Hi!!  How about some sort of comparison sometimes: Moodle/Bb (ie LMS based) courses vs this open free-range style.

1) Stress level?

2) Time?

3) Learning

(And FUN)  :-)

I'll be back.

Hi Derek,

I have been looking for the Google GTD but I wasn't able to find it so far. Can you please be a bit more specific?

Thank you.
