I taught 5th grade for three years and I had it all! I worked in a low socio-economic area, I had 38 students my first year, 40 students my second year, and 36 students my third year. I had the ESE students each year and ESOL as well during my second year. I figure if I made it through that experience as a newbie I can make it through anything. I'm excited about teaching in a middle school, but because I've been out of the loop for a year, I'm also a bit nervous. Any suggestions?<img src="http://teacherlingo.com/aggbug.aspx?PostID=1224" width="1" height="1">

New to the Blog

I'm a teacher who took a year off to go to graduate school...for those of you considering doing the same....DON'T DO IT!
