Less Stress: Declutter Your House

You have been blogging about less stress for a little while.  I have reduced the stress in my life by ignoring the clutter and just going on with the things I like to do.  I am much more relaxed now.  I also teach better when I ignore the clutter.  I seem to know where everything is so it isn't a problem.  I have a mind like a steel... um...something or other.

I'll be blogging about less stress through the end of the month. Some people can get past the junk they keep in their offices and on their desk and on their computer. I happen to be someone who can't. I guess you could say I have a mind like pudding :)

WOW this is so true. I think about what I am going to straighten or clean when I get home so maybe by the weekend I won't have to deal with it. HOWEVER, as you all understand there is planning, replanning, preparing, paperwork, conferences, meetings, phone calls, TRAININGS (what other profession has A MILLION training a year - maybe its just my district) and just plain ol' worn out from giving your 110% that gets in the way of things at home. I am working hard on balancing it all but I know this is a struggle for all of us. It would be very beneficial if there was a psychology course in the Jr./Sr. year in college for teachers to help them prepare for the stress and balancing of their career and life. Also strategies to deal with other coworkers, admin, and parents. :)

Those strategies are coming this week maybe...

Actually some of them have been covered on my site before. I recently updated the archive section of the site and it should be much easier to skim through. Or you could run a search. Thanks for reading and for your comments!
