Man you are on the same wave length as me.  I am working really hard at paying off my one remaining credit card.  I now pay cash for everything.  Except this unexpected hearing aid.  However, insurance paid for most of it and I will pay the rest off asap.  I too can't wait to reduce my "stuff" and live a simple wonderful peaceful stress-reduced life.
