Yep!  We are on the same page.  I am tired of doing nothing but teaching kids to take tests to pass so my school doesn't fail NCLB.

I feel so sorry for the little kids having to go through so much testing.  That is way too much pressure!  They should be looking forward to a fun day of learning instead of so much testing.

I know.  If I am bored and hate the day when we test, I can only imagine how they feel.  I try to soften the blow with fun breaks and group games but it's still hard to tell them why they have to go through this when I don't really believe in all the standardized test hype myself.
