How to add your blog to TeacherLingo.com

Already have a teacher blog on a different site?  No problem.
You can still be a member of our community and share your blog with other teachers!

For a limited time, we are inviting new members to include their existing blog in our community for free.  Once setup, you will be able to continue to use your external blog and all of your posts will automatically be included in our aggregate feed.  Readers of TeacherLingo.com will be able to view an excerpt of your posts on our community and will have a link directing them to your existing blog to read more and comment.  It's a great way to add readers to your existing blog and also be a member of our community.

One added plus that you get will be the many links from our site to your blog on every one of your posts.  This will help your search engine ranking by adding multiple quality incoming links.

To submit your blog to our community, follow these three steps.
  1. Create an account on TeacherLingo.com
  2. Create a blog on TeacherLingo.com to mirror your external blog.  This will be the blog that contains all of the excerpts and links to your blog.
  3. From the Control Panel, select the Add an External Blog from the Upgrade My Blog menu item. Fill out the form, including the Url to your existing blog.

All blog submissions will be reviewed within 48 hours. Please keep in mind that this does not guarantee that your blog will be added.  We retain the right to refuse any requests to add external content to our site in order to ensure the integrity of our community.

All blogs that are submitted to be added to our community must agree to our Terms of Use and abide by our strict posting policies. More specifically, all external blogs must not publish, post, upload, distribute or disseminate any inappropriate, profane, defamatory, infringing, obscene, indecent or unlawful topic, name, material or information.  Failure to abide by our Terms of Use will result in immediate removal from our community.
