    Technology for Students with Special Needs

    Hello all!

    Any body have experience working with students with special needs and have specific assistive technology that they endorse?

    Working with a child with special needs isn't my specialty, but yes, I do have experience with taking care and teaching them. While the experience can sometimes be frustrating (generally if you don't know how to handle the kids) , it's extremely rewarding. The main thing to keep in mind is that you have to be patient. Sometimes students with special needs have trouble absorbing or retaining information. Remember that it isn't their fault. . . it's just the way they are. :)
