Education in Emergencies - Help a Grad Student

    Hello Everyone,

I'm a graduate student as San Francisco State University, majoring in Product Design. I am currently working on my thesis, "Delivering Education to Children in Emergency Situations". I am working on a product that will bring education, and with it a sense of normalcy as well as hope to children that have encountered natural or man made disasters by connecting them to children in unaffected areas in the hopes that they will support and learn from one another, creating tolerance and understanding.

Since my background is not in education I need all of your help. I have put together a short survey for teachers that work in regions that are NOT affected by emergencies to determine the viability of my proposal. Please take 4-5 min to fill out my survey. You will make such a difference in my education, and just maybe the education of a child living through an emergency.

Thank you in advance for your help.

For those of you who have had experience teaching in emergency environments (this includes countries that are severly affected by poverty or HIV/AIDS) and are interested in playing a larger part in my thesis, I would love to contact you. Feel free to email me: bsarhangi@gmail.com
