We just launched My PTA - which lets you set up a free website for your school, PTA, PTO or PTS organization and coordinate your volunteer activities with just a few clicks.

Our CEO was a volunteer for 8 years in his sons' school and saw how difficult life could be for volunteer coordinators. He originally designed the site just for that school, but the word got out.

HERE'S HOW OUR SOY BLEND CANDLE PROGRAM WORKS FOR YOU!

(1) Glow Scented Candles provides each of your participants a single sales order

form listing all aroma selections. Participants take orders for a suggested 2-week period. Customers are requested to pay when ordering. All checks should be made payable to your organization. Participants then turn in orders and all funds to your appointed Director. Just email me your physical address and how many brochures you would like. Then we will get them right out UPS to you.

*Selling price for our 10oz size is $13.00

1 to 99 candle orders ----40% profit margin

100 to 2,999 candle orders----50% profit margin

3,000 or more----55% profit margin

(2) Orders are then transferred to our simple Master Order Form (provided) then faxed, emailed or mailed to Glow Scented Candles.

(3) Candles are then shipped within 10 to 14 business days after payment is received in our Sales Office.

Fundraising idea used at my Son's school

This was really my husband's idea, but I am sharing. My husband Steven started The Earth Wire, an environmental newsletter geared to busy parents and kids (or anyone who cares to take action on environmental issues). TheEarthWire.com is giving $10 per subscription to the school for each membership sold through the Earth Day activities, plus providing environmental activities and an essay contest. The PTA at our school (Terra Vista) is really excited. Is this something that other PTA's would be interested in? One reason they like it so much is that it generates a large % of sales as a donation. I guess other fundraisers only give a few cents per item. Please share your feedback and ideas.
