Hi ,

I have been subbing for the past 2 years(one school dist), and I got a negative feed back from the dist office saying that the teacher I subbed gave a negative feedback,saying that I didnot do properly and was playing with the kids. I did sub her 2 days in a row. She called me and asked me to do work for her the next day also. She didnot send me any sub plans for the next day. she just called me and told me to continue what I was doing the previous day. I did the same and had 2-5mins left and played hang man with the kids. Now the dist says that she rejected me. How can I handle this?

No lesson plans?

What do you typically do when you are left without lesson plans?

On our website we have a lot of material that you can print/use to supplement what is going on in the class (that is, extra/new handouts to match the course content).

But do you try other approaches? I know that just letting the kids "sit there" does no good because not only does it waste learrrning time, but kids get restless and rowdy.

So, what do you do? :)

Hi! Are there things that need to be followed to be able to Teach in Chile as soon as possible? I just really wanted to be near to my daughter who is studying there. Does Chile is really a good place to be with? How about the living cost? Any input please!
