I teach Grade 11 English, special education students mostly, at a vocational high school. I am looking for a recommendation for a good electronic portfolio system to use with students. I have just started researching and don't know what options are available. Basically what I am looking for is a place for students to store their written work, assignments, etc. that would also include a reflection component.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Evernote, or Google Docs will do what you're looking for, simply and for free.

Those will work, but if you need a reflection part, you need something else.
Writing.com has some sort of option, but iffy.

Your school district may have ways of doing what you want.

To be honest, each student having a blog would be a lot better.
blogspot.com is one of the best and run by google.
