Can you please give me suggestions as to the best poems or pieces in English for choral recitation which we can make children in Middle School do? Perhaps you've encountered good ones which have been tried and tested in your schools? We're doing this for the first time in ours. Thanks so much!

Cargoes by John Masefield is good as are: In Flanders Fields, Jabberwocky,The Daniel Jazz.  I am a bit rushed off my feet at the moment as I have to find a shortish poem for the Year 7 poetry recital competition.  Any ideas?  I can give you a whole lot more but not just at this time.  Cheers and good luck.  Francesca
