    K-5 Technology Lesson Plans

    Elementary school children are the generation of digital natives. Most of us teachers are  old enough to have gone through our schooling without

    the digital technology that surround our young students. For that reason, it can be tough to find good technology plans that are integrated into

    the core curriculum.

     K-5 Computer Lab is a site with ~ 200  free technology plans for word processsing, spreadsheets and graphing, powerpoint presentations, multimedia, graphic arts and more.  The site is filled with  examples and downloadable templates to help you get started quickly.

    Here is an example of a technology lesson plan that teaches students how to cut and paste using a word processor:

    Students cut and paste the weather words next to matching image.



    Here is a lesson plan that teaches young students how to use a spreadsheet to create a graph:

    Students learn to enter data and create a simple pie chart.
