    Looking for direction

I am a middle school social studies teacher with 20 years experience in teaching.  This year I have ELL students in m classroom, some of whom know a little english and some who know very little english.  I have an equal number of regular education students.  I am facing my biggest challenge yet trying to challenge all of my students while trying to make sure the material is not too far above my ELL students language ability.  Looking for some help!

Well your question is right and I agree with your points. I would like to say that just check any online esl courses, so you will get the knowledge about the subject and material what they are using right now.
