Board Game Counters

By Learning is the Game™

You don’t have to use dice when playing board games!

Using dice when playing games is fine, but why not use counters instead to squeeze in a little more learning? When I play games with my students I always use counters.

Just cut out the set you want your students to use and put them in a hat, bowl, or other container. Instead of rolling a die, pick out a counter and move that many spaces. I’ve found a left over butter container with a lid works well. That way I can also use it to store the counters and game pieces when we are not using them.

I hope you and your students enjoy using these counters! Be sure to checkout checkout my other items and games and checkout my blog!

More about the seller

Teacher intro
Teaching is one of my many passions in life, and I come from a long line of teachers. My great-grandmother, grandparents, and my parents were all educators. Teaching truly is on my blood.
I have been fortunate to carry out my passion for teaching for over seven years throughout the eastern part of the United States. After receiving my undergrad, I taught at an environment science camp in Massachusetts, and taught fourth grade in North Carolina. When I moved back to the wonderful state of Michigan I taught 6-8 language arts. Currently, I am a 3-5 ELL (English Language Learners) teacher in Grand Rapids, MI. I have also taught adult ELL classes, and Pre-GED reading classes.

Teaching style
Enjoy hands-on learning and using games to get my students interested and excited about learning.
