More about the seller

After our move to Morocco in June of 2011, I will be teaching first grade at an American School in Casablanca, Morocco. Currently, I teach all grade levels in the computer lab at a Title I school in Georgia. Previously, I taught 3rd grade for 4 years. I student-taught in 3rd grade and Kindergartden. I teach in a low-income school where my students need to look at every problem from 12 different angles. Although it is challenging, it is also incredibly rewarding.
My Teaching Style
I am a very hands on teacher, who teaches through brain based learning strategies. I also use arts based learning strategies and SIOP (Sheltered Instruction - for ESOL learners) daily in my classroom.
Honors/Awards/Shining Teaching Moment
I have been involved with the Math Curriculum Committee, Quarterly Training, the Report Card Committee, and many other committees for my county. I also write units and lesson plans for the county website
