spencer- as an education students I ave said and will say the exact same things that I have said here. I will not allow people to spread gossip, rules, and lies about homeschooling. it doesn't matter who they are.

Oh, my husband is a teacher and he is not a morning person. He chooses to stay after work to do his planning. He gets in about 6 or 6:30 PM. He and our daughter have breakfast in the morning together and spend a good deal of time together on the weekends so he isn't forfeiting much family time.

As a preschool teacher I heard so man teacher's complain about not having enough planning time. But I had two full time classes and was STILL able to create lesson plans, prepare arts and crafts projects and complete parent communication logs for 25 students. the two full time classes equal two full time jobs too!

Congratulations on your new car! I bought one (a new-to-me) last year and I love it. I keep it spotless and try o discourage my husband from driving it. He doesn't ave a great driving record or a cleaning record.

I'm sorry you had to purchase lesson plan material. I have never had to do that. There are several FREE online sources to do this. Maybe you could utilize some of them this coming year?Middle Schoolers are a challenge AND a joy. I wish you the best of luck.
