    Until I read your post, I hadn't thought about goals and objectives in IEPs being rubrics, but they are. A student needs to be successful in 4 out of attempts with 80% accuracy.     I asked that same question. I was told that&nbsp;assistive technology&nbsp;could range from your classroom picture icons to technology that speaks for the student. My students are K-5th and like using the headphones together, listening to the same music or story. Hope this&nbsp;helped a bit! J
