Young Explorer has lots of interesting articles for the K-1 crowd. Make sure you check out the teacher’s section where they have lesson plans to go along with each issue and also a digital edition of the issue great for a whiteboard. &lt;/p&gt;

The site has beautiful photos, videos, activities and games where students learn about Winter and dolphins in general.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;They also have a video-maker where students can make a mash-up video using video of Winter, music and text. This was a really cool drag and drop tool that students will enjoy. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt;Along with that is a cool sing along tool where students can sing along with Winter and record the sing along.  This is web 2.0 at it’s best. Students will thoroughly enjoy this wonderful learning experience. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
