Another new addition to my Cool Comic Creators LiveBinder.

Lego City Comic Builder is a fantastic comic creator perfect for students. It features an easy to use drag-n-drop interface that enables students to get creating quickly. There are all sorts of Lego characters as well as backgrounds and props. The captions are great and students can add their own text. I love this and so will your students. Can’t wait to show it to some of mine.

Finished comics can be saved to your computer as a pdf or printed.

Make your own Graphix by GooseBumps, the popular kid’s book series, is one that kids will enjoy. It has a variety of layouts, characters, objects, and speech bubbles. Everything is in black and white, perfect for students to color their own comic.

Great way to tell scary digital stories!

I have added this to my Cool Comic Creators LiveBinder.

Cartoonize is a cool site where you can upload a photo (or use a...

Cartoonize is a cool site where you can upload a photo (or use a URL) and in one click it will turn the photo into a cartoon.

Dad:-)

There are several other effects you can check out at the top of the site.

This find via Richard Byrne. I like his idea of using this to create cartoon characters of the class and have them write comics.

I’m going to have to put this in my lesson plans in the near future. Students will love to write about themselves. They could pose together and we could add speech bubbles to add dialogue. Students will eat this up. I think I’ll frame the results. Dollar Tree…here I come!

I’m adding this to my Cool Comic Creators LiveBinder.

Wow! All of them created by Bill Zimmerman the creator of the site. This is a wonderful collection that will entice students to write. I’m going to put these out for students to use when they have a few minutes after their work is completed. These will be fun to post in the classroom.

Of course I will have to monitor their content closely:-)
