&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;a href="http://pbskids.org/loopscoops/"&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;Loop Scoops&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/strong&gt; is a series of really entertaining videos to get students thinking about the products they use. An underlying issue is what happens to the products after we use them.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.ecokids.ca/pub/index.cfm"&gt;EcoKids&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/strong&gt; is a Canadian site with some pretty nice ecology centered games and activities. See the screenshot below for categories. Each theme has games and activities to go along with them. They are very nice and engaging. They also provide teacher resources, lesson plans, contests, printable handouts, activity sheets and more.  To gain access to the teacher’s area you must sign up…but it’s free. Students do not have to sign up at all.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;*****&lt;/strong&gt;Have Your Say is a nice feature for authentic writing. Every few weeks they post a new question for students to answer and “speak their mind”. Answers are shared on the site.&lt;/p&gt;
