We are officially on countdown to the summer. My 5th graders have all been accepted to their middle schools and, well, have already transitioned in their minds ;) So we have been doing some things in class that keep up the rigor, but allow them a bit of fun.

Hello darlings! There are only five days of school left! Ahhh! While I am usually ecstatic and jumping for joy, this year I am sad. I think it has to do with losing my mom 2 months ago and the fact that these kids show me unconditional love everyday! I will miss all of their sweetness and whining!
