Symbolab is a wonderful scientific search engine that reminds me of Wolphra Alpha. This is great for solving Math or Science equations or word problems.

Zocial Books is a nice search engine for finding books. The results give nice thumbnails and description of the book w/ detailed bibliography details.

Verbase is an interesting new search engine that is ad and spam free. Also, Verbase offers a nice viual experience w/ lots of information upon searching. It claims to get ''smarter'' the more you use it.

FindTheBest is a innovative unbiased data-driven search engine that reminds me a bit of Wolfram Alpha. A user can find data on all kinds of information (colleges, cars, technology, etc etc.) They have an educational section which compares universities, tutoring, K-12, test prep, and more.
