Hi! I teach first grade in Tx.  My favorite professional book in Harry and Rosemary Wong's The First Days of School.  I am a new teacher and have also been building up my classroom library.  I go to garage sales to look for gently used childrens books.  I hope this helps you.  Good Luck.
